The Charm of Flowers

Hello everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your weekend.

We are getting a much needed rain here

so I am happy for our garden and lawn

as well as the farmers crops as it has been

a beautiful but dry summer here on the Island.

This morning before leaving our little

Ocean Song Cottage I took a few shots

of the back porch.

My husband made the curlicues for me

and planters and hanging baskets

really add a lot of charm.

I bought the old chair for $1

several years ago and

I think it adds charm with

a basket of flowers.

                                                   Well, after spending some time weeding
                                                              and deadheading in our garden at home
                                                              we have decided to treat our selves to
                                                             a late lunch at one of our favorite summer
                                                             places.
